Set up the home screen with — and for — the person using it.
Add My Phone to the home screen. It opens full-screen and works with no internet.
To install: tap the Share button, then “Add to Home Screen”.
To install: open your browser's menu and choose “Install” or “Add to Home Screen”.
Used in the greeting on the Today screen. Leave blank for just “Good morning.”
Add a big button for each person. Tap the circle to add a familiar photo — a face is easier to recognise than a name. A number lets the phone dial when tapped; leave it blank to show a gentle “calling…” screen only.
The buttons stay in the same place every time. Turn off any the person doesn't need.
Phone
A simple keypad to dial any number.
Camera
Take a photo with one big button.
Photos
Look through pictures, one at a time.
My Voice
Open the My Voice speaking aid (for when words are hard).
My Day
Open the My Day orientation screen.
Today
The time, the day, and what's happening now.
Help
A big button that calls one person you choose.
Where those two buttons open. The defaults work when My Phone, My Voice and My Day are hosted together; change them to point anywhere.
My Voice and My Day save themselves for offline use the first time they open while online. My Phone does this quietly in the background — during setup, opening each one once while connected makes sure.
One person — usually the carer. When Help is pressed, the phone offers to call them. This calls one person you choose; it does not reach emergency services or a medical-alert line, and any pendant alarm or care arrangement stays exactly as it is.
Shown on the Today screen — the gentle shape of an ordinary day, in order. It quietly points to what's happening now and next. It does not set alarms.
A gentle reminder on the Today screen — for example “at home”. Leave blank to hide it.
A calm note that appears one at a time, with a single “OK”. Give a time and it shows once when that time comes; leave the time blank and it simply appears on the Today screen. Nothing is sent anywhere and no system notifications are used.
Tick what fits the person.

My Phone is a calm, simple home screen you set up on a phone or tablet. It shows large buttons for the people and things that matter and hides the rest. It is not a medical or emergency device: the Help button calls one person you choose, and does not reach emergency services.
